Pre-Engineering
Our pre-engineering program offers a solid academic foundation in mathematics, physics, and chemistry subjects. Students are taught to think logically, solve complex problems, and apply concepts through hands-on lab work and organized examinations. We also direct our curriculum for university entrance examinations, such as ECAT. This path leads our students towards many professional domains such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Chemical, Environmental, and Aeronautical Engineering.
Pre-Medical
Our Pre-Medical curriculum offers a strong foundation in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and preparing our students for professions in the biological sciences and healthcare sector. Students improve their scientific thinking, understanding of medical concepts, and test-taking skills by combining classroom learning with extensive lab work. Our tutors also prepare them for MDCAT entrance examinations. This fields open up many options in Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry (BDS), Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Nursing and other allied health disciplines.
Commerce
The Commerce stream at HIES focuses on developing a strong understanding of Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, Business Mathematics and Finance in our students. With highly qualified finance experts, our learners engage in practical applications, including financial reporting, budgeting, taxation principles, and case studies, using technologies such as MS Excel and other accounting software. This prepares them for professions in banking, finance, business administration, entrepreneurship and the corporate sector.
ICS (Computer Science)
The ICS program is intended for students who want to pursue a career in the field of computer technology and AI digital innovation. Students acquire theoretical knowledge and practical experience in programming and software development, based on their background in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics. This field prepares students for careers in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Game Development, and other Information Technology-related industries.
Humanities & Arts (Social Sciences)
HIES also provides a comprehensive Humanities and Arts programme for those students who wish to pursue social sciences and language studies. Our curriculum includes English and Urdu electives, Philosophy, Political Science/Civics, Psychology, Arabic, Sindhi, Persian, and other courses based on the Karachi Inter Board Criteria. Our students benefit from trained teachers who teach the curriculum, which promotes critical thinking, communication skills, and a better understanding of society. The graduates of the program can find jobs in education, civil services, law, media, international relations and psychology.
