This course will help students develop social interaction and expand their interpersonal skills. Through class activities, they will actively converse in formal and informal setting through dialogues and discussions using simple words and phrases in a logical sequence.

  • Greeting friends and family on different occasions and for different reasons
  • Using formal greeting expressions appropriately
  • Using formal and informal expressions of gratitude

  • Parts of speech
  • Giving directions to a location
  • Sharing narratives
  • Sharing unique experiences
  • Using appropriate adjectives to make a simple description more interesting
  • Listening carefully and understanding a situation contextually to develop receptive skills
  • Simple and present continuous tenses
  • Use of wh- questions for interviewing

  • Using modal verbs can , could , would , should and must in various real life situations

ADVANCE LEVEL-1 (ADULTS)

This course will help students adapt speech to a variety of contexts and communicative tasks,demonstrating command of formal English. By the end of the course the students will be able to use various types of phrases (noun, verb, adjectival, adverbial, prepositional, and absolute) and clauses (independent, dependent; noun, relative, adverbial) to convey specific meanings and add variety and interest to writing or presentations.
