Hira Institute of Emerging Sciences (HIES) offers Karachi Board–aligned Intermediate education with a flexible hybrid learning system, empowering students locally and globally to succeed in their high school period with confidence.
HIES was established in 2016 as part of the Hira Foundation System (Division of Darul Uloom Karachi). We are an evening college focused on strong academics, Shariah values, and making high school education and accreditation globally accessible.
Our academic programs help students succeed in the Karachi Intermediate Board (HSSC) exams and other boards, where they also gain practical skills through technical and professional courses.
We offer our students a hybrid model of education, allowing both local and international students to benefit from a flexible and faith-based learning experience.
By the grace of almighty Allah, we have succeeded in providing opportunities to the students to polish their skills with regard to contemporary education, in an environment free from evils that have become rampant in other educational institutions. As HIES is situated within the boundary walls of Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi, students should be thankful to Allah (SWT) wholeheartedly. Today they do not have to go anywhere else for formal studies. Otherwise they would fall prey to the social ills and in turn an evil impact of co-educational system on their faith. Now it is their duty to make the most of this available facility, which is not less than a blessing in this era.

Our Pre-Engineering program is designed for students who aspire to build careers in science, technology, and engineering. At HIES, we focus on strengthening core concepts in Mathematics and Physics through a concept-based approach that promotes analytical thinking, problem-solving, and academic discipline. With interactive teaching methods, practical laboratory exposure, and continuous academic mentoring, students receive the support they need to perform well in board examinations and university entry tests. This program opens the door to a wide range of engineering fields, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Chemical, Environmental, and Aeronautical Engineering, among others.
The Pre-Medical program at HIES is crafted for students who wish to pursue careers in medicine, healthcare, and life sciences. Through a strong academic foundation in Biology, Chemistry, and related sciences, students are guided to develop both conceptual clarity and practical understanding. Our approach combines classroom learning with lab-based training, academic support, and test preparation to help students build the confidence required for medical and healthcare pathways. This program prepares students for future studies in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, medical laboratory sciences, nursing, and other health-related professions.
Our Commerce program is ideal for students interested in business, finance, and the economic world. At HIES, we help students develop a strong understanding of Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, and Finance through both theoretical learning and practical application. Students are introduced to real-world financial concepts, business case studies, budgeting, basic taxation, and essential digital tools such as MS Excel and accounting software. This program creates a strong foundation for future studies and careers in accounting, banking, finance, entrepreneurship, business administration, and related professional fields.
The ICS program at HIES is designed for students who want to enter the rapidly growing world of technology and innovation. We provide a strong base in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics, along with practical exposure to coding, logic building, and software development fundamentals. Students learn in a modern computer lab environment that supports hands-on practice and technical growth.
