About HIES
HIES was established in 2016 as part of the Hira Foundation System (Division of Darul Uloom Karachi). We are an evening college focused on strong academics, Shariah values, and making high school education and accreditation globally accessible.
We help our students succeed in academic programs of Karachi Intermediate Board (HSSC) as well as other Inter boards. We make sure that they gain practical skills through our technical and professional courses as well. With a hybrid model of education system here, we allow both local and international students to benefit from HIES’ flexible yet Shariah-compliant learning experience.

Our HSSC Academic Programs
At HIES, we enable students to prepare for a wide range of intermediate-level academic pathways according to their interests, strengths, and future goals. Our HSSC programs are designed to provide strong subject knowledge, practical understanding, and guided preparation for higher education and professional success. Pre-Engineering Program
Pre-Engineering curriculum is a wonderful fit if you’re interested in a career in science, technology or engineering. At HIES, we take key topics in Mathematics and Physics and bring them alive with practical, hands-on learning. Our tutors help students develop analytical thinking and problem solving skills so that they can score well in their board examinations and acquire admission to their selected university. We strive to make learning engaging and beneficial by using innovative teaching techniques and providing our students with ongoing coaching for their board exams.
Pre-Medical Program
At HIES, our Pre-Medical program is intended for students who want a career in medicine, healthcare or the life sciences. We give our students a good academic foundation in Biology, Chemistry and other sciences where appropriate, enabling them to grasp concepts and practical skills. We provide classroom lectures, laboratory sessions, academic support, and MDCAT test preparation to help students achieve the confidence required for a career in medicine and healthcare. This educational program prepares students for further research in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, medical laboratory sciences, nursing and other relevant health professions.
Commerce Program
Our Commerce program is ideal for students interested in business, finance, and the economic world. At HIES, we help students develop a strong understanding of Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, and Finance through both theoretical learning and practical application. Students are introduced to real-world financial concepts, business case studies, budgeting, basic taxation, and essential digital tools such as MS Excel and accounting software. This program creates a strong foundation for future studies and careers in accounting, banking, finance, entrepreneurship, business administration, and related professional fields.
Computer Science Program
The ICS program at HIES is designed for students who aspire to enter the fast-paced world of technology and innovation. We offer a solid foundation in Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics with hands-on exposure to coding, logic building and software development basics. Students learn in a state-of-the-art computer lab setting that promotes hands-on experience and technical development. The program offers academic tutoring and college admission exam prep, allowing students to pursue professions in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Game Development, Information Technology, and new tech disciplines.
Humanities & Arts (Social Sciences)
HIES also provides a well-structured Humanities and Arts program for its students who are interested in pursuing the social sciences and other language studies. This field offers a solid academic foundation in subjects such as English and Urdu electives, Political Science/Civics, Advanced Islamic Studies, Sociology, as well as other Karachi Board-approved social science courses.
